About Me
Hi! I am a marketing professional with work experience in both the US and Mexico. I have an undergraduate degree in International Business (Marketing concentration) from Northeastern University in Boston, and an MBA from the Technical University of Monterrey, known as the “MIT of Mexico”. As part of my MBA program, I spent half a year studying Luxury Goods Marketing at NEOMA Business School in the Champagne region of France. I also recently completed a Certificate in Product Management with Northwestern University in March 2024.
Since June 2023, I have been working at Google in San Francisco and learning how to market wearable products directly to consumers. I am currently on Google’s Fitbit team, managing web promotions for all wearable products including Fitbit smartwatches and trackers as well Pixel watches. I love working with products that empower everyone in the world to live a healthier and active lifestyle.
Prior to Google, I worked at Brooks Running as a Senior Product Marketing Specialist. I created the go-to-market sales catalogs and dived deep on the features and specs of Brooks’ shoes and apparel.
Earlier in my career, I worked for 4 years in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry doing Product Management for school and art supplies at Pelikan Group, a German company with product development offices in Mexico. During this time, I launched dozens of new and/or updated products aimed at kids with an interest in art, created advertisements that told compelling product stories, designed appealing packaging, and found innovative applications for existing base products. These accomplishments combined to help Pelikan grow its market share and brand recognition, becoming a top school supply brand in Latin America and Europe.
In 2020, I got married and moved to California to live with my husband. The CEO of Pelikan Group Mexico referred me to a job in the US at Chartpak, Pelikan’s distribution partner for the US market. At Chartpak, I continued working on many of the Pelikan products I had developed, helping get these products tested and certified for sale at US retailers such as Office Depot, Staples, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and specialty craft stores.
I am results-driven, detail-oriented, joyful, full of creative energy, and I love bringing innovative products to market that enrich peoples’ lives and make a sustainable impact!
My managers have called me a “talented marketer” and said I approached my work “with a can-do attitude and much enthusiasm”. I’m currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area and am open to working in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid arrangement.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, cooking, running, and having outdoor adventures with my family (1 small human and 3 big mutts)!
I am a US permanent Greencard holder; I do not require employer sponsorship now or in the future to work in the United States.
